Timber Creek Golf Club

Timber Creek Golf Club provides a challenging experience for golfers of all ability levels.

Creekside is a short 9 hole layout that requires game management but doesn't emphasize length. The Pines is known to be a little more open. Its 9 holes are medium length and it does not have as many demanding carries.

Timber Trails is everything a golfer would want in a 9-hole course for his/her golf game. Long in length, demanding carries, and ally-like fairways.

River Ridge Signature Hole- River #7

PicRiver Ridge’s 27 holes are carved out of a 350 acre pecan grove that gave the course a parkland- style setting and feel. The rolling terrain and Old World feel are perfectly captured on the River course’s #7 hole, named “Rogue” after the lone peach tree in the middle of the fairway. The hole provides multiple options making it a favorite for players of all skill levels.

Either play a fade off the tee around the pecan trees on the right, or risk hitting the high draw over the trees to shorten the hole. That leaves you aiming over the Rogue tree in the fairway to an elevated sloping green protected by bunkers left and right. Par is a good score; birdie on the Rogue hole is cause for celebration.

Putt vs. Chip

A basic rule of thumb to follow is this: putt the ball whenever you can, chip when you cannot putt and pitch when you cannot chip.
