Trump carefully redesigned every aspect of the golf course, including greens complexes, bunkering, and the addition of three signature waterfalls. The course was lengthened by 800 yards, bringing total yardage to 7,300; and with the course now playing to a par of 71; it provides a firm test for even the most accomplished player. A key enhancement made during the redesign, & possibly one of the most pivotal to Trump National maintaining a sense of public appeal, was the addition of four alternative teeing areas.
